Registration for Faith Formation classes, preschool (3 and 4 year olds) to 8th grade, including First Communion and Confirmation preparation, for the 2022-2023 catechetical year will begin on Sunday, August 14, 2022.
It is the mission of the St. James Faith Formation programs to assist the parents in the education of their children in the Catholic faith. It is our primary goal to help the children and youth come to know God, love Him and serve Him.
We provide the following faith formation programs: CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) for preschool (3 and 4 year olds) thru 8th grades; First Communion preparation; Confirmation (9th thru 12th grades) preparation; and Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
Our classes begin in September and run through May. CCD classes meet every Sunday from 9:15 am- 10:30 am, Confirmation classes meet two Sundays a month from 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm, and the RCIA sessions meet every Sunday from 9:15 am - 10:30 am.
The Sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation are two-year preparation programs.
