Family must be registered, participating members of the parish for at least 3 months
Children 7 years of age and up are required to complete two years of preparation to receive the Sacrament. (Possibly through the catechumenate program). Those under the age of seven may be baptized without this requirement
Parents and godparents must participate in a Baptismal preparation session and submit a copy of certificate of completion
At least one godparent MUST BE a fully initiated Catholic in good standing and have an affidavit of suitability signed by their parish priest
Parents must submit a copy of the child's birth certificate
The Sacrament of Baptism is administered at one of our masses

Preparation is a two-year program (*consecutive years)
This sacrament is usually administered to students as early as second grade (*they can begin preparation in first grade)
Children MUST receive the Sacrament of First Reconciliation before receiving the Sacrament of First Eucharist. This sacrament is administered during the two years of preparation

Classes are for students in 9th thru 11th grades
Preparation is a two-year program (*consecutive years)
A copy of the child's baptism and first communion certificates must be provided
If you are an adult, 18 years or older, and you need the Sacrament of Confirmation, you must participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults program (RCIA)
Those being considered for godparents for baptisms or sponsors for confirmation must meet the following criteria (canons 872-874):
1. They should be at least 16 years of age.
2. They MUST BE fully-initiated Catholics (having received the Sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation).
3. They must be a practicing Catholic in both word and deed. ( For example: regularly attending Sunday mass) Those who have fallen away from the practice of the faith MAY NOT serve as godparents or sponsors.
4. They are not the father or mother of the candidate for Baptism or Confirmation.
5. If they are married, they must have been married in the Catholic Church.
For confirmation, there is to be only one sponsor
For baptisms, if there are two godparents, there must be one male and one female; or there can be only one godparent
If only one godparent is chosen, parents may ask someone baptized in a non-Catholic community to serve as a Christian Witness to the ceremony, along with the Catholic godparent.
Contact the parish priest 6 to 9 months before your anticipated date of marriage
Some form of marriage preparation (Pre-Cana) during the 6 months before your anticipated date of marriage will be required
After the Pre-Cana preparation is completed and all required documents are submitted, the plans for the ceremony can begin
At least one of the engaged couple must be a fully-initiated Catholic
